For the first time, as senior military officers of the Military Council, they were arrested and prosecuted

 Foreign currency policy during the service of 2 former members of the Military Council, Lt. Gen. (former) Mo Myint Tun and Brigadier General (former) Yan Naung Soe. He was sentenced by a court-martial to the equivalent of 20 years in prison for life on charges of personal gain contrary to important commodity policies and economic policies.

This is the first time military officers of the Military Council have been arrested and sentenced to prison.
